Lot 18: Traditional Cantonese Dinner

Cantonese cuisine tantalizes taste buds with its exquisite balance of flavors–a tasty adventure where every mouthful of culinary finesse is a testimony to centuries-old tradition.

Get ready for an unforgettable feast at the Xin Family’s Atherton residence! A Cantonese Chinese banquet prepared by a renowned Chinese Guóyàn (state banquet) chef.

The highlight of the evening is the exquisite Buddha Jumps Over the Wall soup, served in ornate ceramic pots. This luxurious dish is crafted with premium ingredients such as abalone, sea cucumber, fish maw, dried scallops, Jinhua ham, and ginseng, all slow-cooked to create a rich, umami-filled broth.

Another standout is the three-way Alaska king crab feast: steamed crab legs with garlic and vermicelli, baked crab fried rice served in the crab shell, and stir-fried crab with ginger and spring onion.

The banquet also features a traditional Chinese tea service before and after dinner, making the event a true celebration of Cantonese culinary artistry. Let yourself be immersed in this epic Chinese soirée that will leave your taste buds dancing!
