Silicon Valley International School’s Early Years Center (Preschool and Pre-Kindergarten) builds a strong foundation for bilingual immersion, discovery and innovation, and academic success for elementary school and beyond.
Preschool students spend approximately 80%-100% of their time in their target language (Chinese, French, or German).
Using the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme, our Early Years Center cultivates foundational academic skills through an inquiry-based framework that promotes discovery and creativity. Preschool and Pre-Kindergarten are centered around learning how to be a member of a school community and express one’s thoughts and feelings through units such as “Who We Are” and “How We Express Ourselves.”

Mini-camp is available for Preschool and Pre-Kindergarten during break weeks and a portion of the summer.
For new Preschool or Pre-Kindergarten families.

We provide a high level of language (Chinese, French, or German) to maximize the receptiveness of young children to language and to build their working oral language skills during this developmental stage.
Our Early Years Center (Preschool and Pre-Kindergarten), Middle School, and High School is located on our Willows Campus in Menlo Park (475 Pope Street). Kindergarten - 5th grade is located at our Cohn Campus in Palo Alto (151 Laura Lane).
