Silicon Valley International School’s Early Years Center (Preschool and Pre-Kindergarten) builds a strong foundation for bilingual immersion, discovery and innovation, and academic success for elementary school and beyond.
Preschool students spend approximately 80% of their time in their target language (Chinese, French, or German) and about 20% of their time in English, spread across the week.
Using the International Baccalaureate’s Primary Years Programme, our Early Years Center cultivates foundational academic skills through an inquiry-based framework that promotes discovery and creativity. Preschool and Pre-Kindergarten are centered around learning how to be a member of a school community and express one’s thoughts and feelings through units such as “Who We Are” and “How We Express Ourselves.”
