The premier bilingual world school on the west coast

we are as unique as the people we serve

So much of who we are — as people — is what sets Silicon Valley International School apart as a one-of-a-kind educational experience. We are an independent, co-education, non-sectarian bilingual day school with Chinese, French, and German programs spanning preschool through 12th grade. Starting in 6th grade, we also offer our Upper School Language Acquisition program for students with no prior bilingual immersion experience.

INTL is an International Baccalaureate World School, that is authorized to provide the Primary Years, Middle Years, and Diploma Programmes.

an exciting partnership and future

In January of 2020, the school changed its name from International School of the Peninsula (ISTP) to Silicon Valley International School (INTL). The name change is a reflection of the geographic location of our campuses, but also signals our continued commitment to providing an innovative and robust internationally-focused bilingual education.

Officially on January 1, 2021, Alto International School merged with Silicon Valley International School, creating the premier bilingual International Baccalaureate World School on the West Coast, and the only IB continuum school in the Bay Area.
