Rita Sancheti

2026-2027 is Rita’s first year serving on the Board. She serves on both the Development and the Governance Committees. She and her husband, Amjit, have two children at INTL in the USLA program, one in the 8th Grade and one in the 10th Grade. Rita holds a Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from The George Washington University in Washington, D.C.

She grew up in India and has lived in Pennsylvania and Washington DC on the East Coast before moving to the Bay Area in 2007. She and her husband both speak three languages, and Ajit was educated across three continents (India, the United States, and France). As a family, they value multilingualism and the perspective that comes from global and cross-cultural experiences.

Outside of work and school activities, the family enjoy traveling, skiing in the winter, and staying closely involved in their children’s soccer experiences.
